Mondays news although not wholly unexpected it was still a bit of a shock. I spent most of Monday frantically trying to come to grips with things while simultaneously trying to get my head screwed back on straight. Yesterday was a bit better, I called my companies short term disability agency as well as started getting my self squared away.
He is where i am at today, I am going to be having a massive surgery again this fall, that is a fact of life. I will be going through much of the same things I did last summer, hopefully this time it will not be as long of a hospital stay. This time though I am not dealing with cancer, only reconstruction. I honestly don’t know what is in store for me in the next few months.

I have begun the process of planning for a progressively deteriorating pelvis, I have been exploring wheelchair options as well as getting my weight under control. This is that time when i need to get my head on straight, and start training as hard as I can safely, to do otherwise could cost me a leg.

I will document the journey as best as I can.
