Well, after a weekend of dealing with malware and drama I spoke to my surgeon on Monday morning. Life became a rather interesting whirlwind this week to be honest. For months we have been working toward replacing my left pelvis with a 3d printed titanium custom built piece, but because I am growing a great deal of extra bone there are some small problems that are out there that may hinder my ability to have a successful surgery, as well as the very real possibility that my rather broken alograft is welding itself nicely into my living bone minus some loose screws. My doctor wants me to come in tomorrow for a full series of x rays and a biopsy of the area to ascertain if I have any movement in the pelvic area, and if he can actually get through the HO bone. All of this being said there is a possibility of them doing a partial hip replacement with what is likely some metal grafts to stabilize the the graft pelvis, so a much easier surgery and with the desired results.
I am sure I will have more to say, but for now Im kinda tired
