its been a long week…
a full week of orientation and an even fuller one next week.
The thing about being a new medic when your already and old one is, remembering you are a new medic again, just this time without all the fear of what will happen when your patient dies. The new service is very well run, which is good, I have been sittign in a desk with far to much free time for the last few years and this may create some issues if I get lax in my actions.
today I was thrilled to learn of all the ways that you can get fired during your probationary time, it wasnt an issue of scaring the new guys, it was simply a what to watch out for. I will be glad to get to next sunday when I get to start my rides alongs, I am hoping my preceptor is nice, I have never met him.
