So its 11 days until my surgery and the long period I am out from work. I am pretty nervous honestly, I am learning a lot about myself right now. I have had some really big ups and a huge number of downs. two weeks ago, I was post biopsy and had a melt down, thankfully i have great friends who know how to redirect my bi-polar brain and all was well, at least on my end, I’ll tell the story of the terrible awful I did later on. I have also learned that there are people that I don’t really know or associate with who have no clue about me or how my friends and I communicate, more later.
Anj and I were looking over the prospective costs of me being out, the medical costs, the rehab costs, the equipment we will need that probably isn’t fully covered by insurance, and it was causing a lot of concern. So last night I started a Go Fund Me campaign, http://www.gofundme.com/9qqzdw in the hopes of raising some money to help out.
On some positive notes:
I will be attending the Minnehaha Masonic Lodge on Wednesday for a dinner, and with luck they will vote me in and I can attend the 1 day to masson event on June 21st.. yes 9 days after I have hip replacement, and yes i will pay dearly for it the next day, most likely i will spend the entire next day in bed, but it is worth it.
matthew is doing well, he’s being 8 which is pretty cool
Anj is working hard on the program for Convergence, and those that see us at Con this year, I hope you take the time to thank her for the many many many late nights or early mornings really she has spent to give us all a great document.
thank you all for the love and support.
