Well earlier this past weekend I became a drop shipping retailer for several online companies in order to sell holsters, first aid kits, trauma supplies, lights, and a bunch of other business related items. This is a bit of a jump for me and my little company, although its been something I wanted to do for awhile, it’s still a big step. Classes are slowly starting to pick up which is helpful, with any luck I will be able to fill more classes and alleviate some of the financial stress. I am looking at starting to teach more advanced classes soon, basic and advanced rifle classes as well as handgun classes. I am considering doing a bunch of handicapped combatives classes to market to the differently abled; these classes have been a goal of mine for several years because I dream of the day some would be robber learns the hard way that not everyone is an easy target, whether via baton or other items.
More medical classes are in the works as well, I am learning that most people are looking for basic first aid classes and cpr vs the bigger AHA courses like ACLS and PALS. I am hoping to do another street medic class providing I can get a sponsor, it might be easier to get that sponsorship if I were a non profit but that’s neither here nor there. I am also wanting to do more of my monthly drop in classes for folks to come in and learn some stuff.
So a lot of things are in the planning stages, may decide to branch Korstog Training into two separate entities one focused on medical classes and the other on firearms and related courses. but that’s a decision for later
